The establishment of the e-Corner within the precincts of Campbell Bay Tehsil marks a pivotal leap in rationalising administrative procedures, diminishing paperwork, and expediting services for the denizens of Great Nicobar Island. Functioning as a nucleus for an array of digital services, the e-Corner promises enhanced convenience for the local populace.

This launch of e-services sets the stage for a simplified platform allowing applicants to procure various certificates, including Local Certificate, Tribal Certificate, Resident Certificate, Income Certificate, and more.

During the inauguration, Ms. Jyoti Kumari underscored the significance of these e-Corners as instrumental bridges between the administration and the local community. She personally handed-over online Resident Certificates and Senior Citizen Certificates to select applicants. The Deputy Commissioner further announced plans to establish similar e-Corners shortly at Kamorta, Katchal, Chowra, and Teressa Islands.

Mr. Abhishek Gulia, Assistant Commissioner of Campbell Bay, highlighted that applicants can access online services from the e-Corner or their nearby Common Service Centres. Additionally, citizens have the option to submit applications directly on the website https://edistrict.andaman.gov.in, facilitating seamless access to the available services.
