To mark the joyous occasion of Deepawali, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Rural Livelihood Mission (ANIRLM), under the aegis of the Directorate of Rural Development, will organize a vibrant Self-Help Group (SHG) Mela at Marina Park on October 16 and 17 from 3 PM to 9 PM.
The two-day festive fair will provide a platform for various local SHGs to exhibit and sell their handmade products, including traditional home décor, festive items, handicrafts, and homemade delicacies.
The mela aims to create a lively festive atmosphere while promoting local entrepreneurship and women’s empowerment. Residents and tourists have been invited to participate, experience the spirit of Deepawali, and support the creative efforts of local SHG members.
