Delegation of ASEAN Heads of Missions, Excellencies Mr. Ramon Jr. Bagatsing, Philippines, Mr.Pham Sanh Chau, Vietnam, Mr. Ung Sean, Cambodia, Mr. Moe Kyaw Aung, Myanmar, Mr. Alaihuddin Mohd Taha, Brunei Darussalam, Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, Thailand and Mr. Bounneme Chouanghom, Laos called on Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Hon’ble Lt. Governor, A&N Islands and Vice-Chairman, Islands Development Agency today at Raj Niwas.
They discussed enhancement of direct trade including import of timber, steel & construction materials like sand, aggregates/stone etc. and to give impetus to Tourism, Discussed Cruise liner circuits, Chartered & Hopping flights, with incentives already in place like Zero VAT on ATF & nil landing charges, exploring further scope of cooperation and connectivity with Andaman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
