In celebration of National Sports Day, the Deputy Education Office, South Andaman, will organize an Inter-School Road Running Race Competition for under-17 boys and girls on August 19, 2025, starting at 6 AM. The event will feature participation from students of both government and private schools.
Boys will compete over a 10 km route, beginning at the main gate of Netaji Stadium and passing through key landmarks including Girls School, Government Press, Hotel Sinclair, Mazar, Science Centre, Corbyn’s Cove Beach, before returning to the stadium. The girls’ race will cover 5 km, following a route from Netaji Stadium’s main gate via Girls School, Government Press, Hotel Sinclair, Mazar, and back to the stadium.
Winners will be awarded trophies, medals, and certificates during the National Sports Day function scheduled for August 29, 2025.
