The Department of Art & Culture, Andaman and Nicobar (A&N) Administration, has announced a five-day hobby class focusing on paper-mache craft and painting. The classes, set to take place from June 18 to 28, 2024, will be held at the Andaman Club.
The sessions will be led by the renowned artist Mr. Mahananda Gomasta, who will provide expert instruction in both paper-mache and painting techniques.
The workshop is open to students over the age of 12 and unemployed youth residing in the islands. Interested participants are encouraged to register by 10 a.m. on June 14, 2024. Registrations can be made in person at the Directorate of Art & Culture or via email at artand.culture@and.nic.in.
