The Department of Art & Culture, under the Andaman and Nicobar (A & N) Administration, is gearing up to make the forthcoming World Tourism Day, scheduled for September 27, 2023, a vibrant and culturally rich celebration. To achieve this goal, the department is reaching out to local cultural organisations, with a preference for those specialising in folk or classical dance forms, to participate in cultural programs during the event.

In its bid to curate an engaging and diverse program for World Tourism Day, the Department of Art & Culture has officially extended an invitation to cultural organisations in the region. The call for applications is open to associations that excel in folk and classical dance forms.

Should there be an overwhelming response with multiple entries, the department plans to conduct an audition to select the most suitable performers. This selection process aims to ensure that the cultural programs are of the highest quality and represent the rich heritage of the country.

Cultural associations interested in contributing to the celebration of World Tourism Day are encouraged to submit their applications by September 23, 2023. Applications should be sent to the following email address: cellularjailandaman@gmail.com.

For those seeking further information or clarification, the Department of Art & Culture has provided a contact number: 03192-231399. Representatives of cultural organisations are welcome to reach out for any additional details or inquiries regarding their participation.
