Dhairya NGO Lauds A&N Police for Dedicated Services During ITF, New Year, and VVIP Visit

Dhairya NGO has appreciated the dedicated and disciplined services rendered by the Andaman & Nicobar Police during the Island Tourism Festival (ITF), New Year celebrations, and the recent VVIP visit to the islands.

In a press note, the NGO commended the professionalism and commitment shown by police personnel in managing large crowds, regulating traffic, and ensuring public safety during the ITF. It noted that despite long working hours and continuous public interaction, officers and staff discharged their duties with patience, alertness, and a high sense of responsibility.

The NGO also extended special appreciation to police personnel deployed at New Year checkpoints, who remained on duty throughout the night to maintain law and order and promote road safety during the festive period.

Further, Dhairya NGO lauded the efficient traffic management and security arrangements put in place during the VVIP visit, highlighting the well-coordinated efforts of the police force in ensuring smooth traffic flow and maintaining public order, often while standing on duty for extended hours.

Stating that such sustained efforts play a crucial role in maintaining public confidence, safety, and the smooth functioning of civic life in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, the NGO said the services rendered by the Andaman & Nicobar Police deserve due recognition and respect.
