Dr. S. Radhakrishnan District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Garacharma, South Andaman, in collaboration with the National Centre for School Leadership (NCSL), NIEPA, New Delhi, conducted a three-day Induction cum Capacity Building Training Programme for newly promoted and existing Head Masters (Primary) from all nine educational zones of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The programme was held from October 14 to 16, 2025, at GSSS, Mohanpura under the theme “School Leadership Development: Empowering Educational Leaders for Implementation of NEP – 2020.”
Mr. Gyan Sheel Dubey, DDE (Academics), HoO, was the chief guest at the inaugural function. The training aimed to equip school heads with essential leadership and managerial skills, enabling them to lead their institutions with a clear vision, academic focus, and a participatory approach.
Sessions were conducted by Dr. Gyaneshwari Longjam and Dr. Yogesh Pahariya, Assistant Professors from NCSL, NIEPA, New Delhi, along with experienced local resource persons, providing participants with practical insights and strategies to implement the National Education Policy effectively at the school level.
