Mr. Dilip Ghosh, National Vice President, Bharatiya Janata Party and Mr. Arvind Menon, National Secretary, Bharatiya Janata party are on a two day visit to Andaman and Nicobar Islands currently. Both the leaders landed at Port Blair today and were accorded a warm welcome by Mr. Ajoy Bairagi and other BJP workers.
Both National Leaders participated in programmes held to honour Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, the founder of Jan Sangh, on his birth anniversary.
The leaders paid floral tributes to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Park, Y Narayan Junction, Aberdeen Bazaar. They also participated in the programme held at State BJP Office, Middle Point.
During the programme at BJP State Office, Mr. Dilip Ghosh and Mr. Arvind Menon addressed the party workers and spoke about the sacrifice and contributions of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.
Mr. Ghosh during his address urged the workers of the party to create awareness about the Central Govt. Schemes among the common people so that they can take advantage of it.
Mr. Ghosh & Mr. Menon will return back to mainland on 7th of July 2022.
