The Directorate of Education, Andaman and Nicobar Administration, has launched Monthly Essay Writing and Painting Competitions for school students across the Islands. The initiative aims to nurture writing skills, creative thinking, and artistic expression among young learners through regular participation in activities of social relevance.
As part of the programme, students from Classes VI to XII will participate in Essay Writing Competitions, while students from Classes I to V will take part in Painting Competitions. The themes will revolve around important social topics such as cleanliness drives, health awareness, blood donation, tree plantation, youth participation, and the promotion of local products.
To encourage and recognise talent, the best entries from schools will be featured on the Directorate’s official website. This platform will provide young students an opportunity to showcase their creativity and be acknowledged for their efforts.
