The Directorate of Social Welfare has unveiled an effortless system for pensioners to acquire and submit their Life Certificates, ensuring a smooth continuation of pension disbursements in adherence to Government of India guidelines. These certificates are mandatory for all pensioners to sustain their eligibility for pension benefits, and the Directorate’s new approach aims to simplify the process significantly.
As per the government’s stipulations, pensioners must submit a Life Certificate to retain their access to pension benefits. To facilitate this requirement, the Directorate of Social Welfare has initiated a user-friendly method for pensioners to obtain and submit their Life Certificates.
How to Obtain Your Life Certificate:
Visit Designated Centres:
Pensioners are urged to visit their nearest Anganwadi Center, Social Welfare Office, or ICDS to procure the Life Certificate form. Anganwadi Centres specifically serve as convenient hubs for pensioners to access and complete the necessary documentation.
Complete and Submit the Form:
Pensioners are required to fill out the Life Certificate form and secure the essential signatures from designated Officers/Officials. Once completed, the form needs to be submitted to the nearest CDPO (Child Development Project Officer) Office for further processing.
This process is an annual requirement, ensuring timely pension disbursements without interruption. The initiative aims to streamline the Life Certificate submission, enhancing accessibility for pensioners while eliminating unnecessary complexities. The Directorate of Social Welfare remains steadfast in providing support and guidance to pensioners throughout this simplified procedure.
This proactive step by the Directorate of Social Welfare aligns with the commitment to ease administrative processes for citizens and ensure the uninterrupted flow of essential benefits to pensioners across the region.
