In a bid to enhance public service accessibility and address citizens’ concerns efficiently, the District Administration of South Andaman has unveiled a novel initiative – revenue camps at every village across the district. This pioneering move aims to streamline service delivery and alleviate grievances related to the Revenue Department.
Under the banner of this groundbreaking initiative, the District Administration will inaugurate the first in a series of Revenue Camp Courts at Govindnagar Gram Panchayat, Swaraj Dweep. The two-day event is scheduled to take place on the 18th and 19th of August 2023, commencing from 11:00 AM onwards. Notably, representatives from various line departments will also be present during this event.
The public is strongly encouraged to leverage this platform to seek redressal for any pending grievances or issues pertaining to the line departments. This strategic move seeks to bridge the gap between citizens and government services, ensuring that concerns are escalated to the appropriate channels for swift resolution.
Highlighting the broad scope of this initiative, officials have disclosed that all villages within the South Andaman District are set to be covered in a phased manner. A weekly schedule outlining the locations and dates of forthcoming camps will be released in due course, fostering anticipation and participation among the public.
The District Administration of South Andaman is unwavering in its commitment to enhance service quality for residents through this grassroots outreach program. By extending essential services to citizens’ doorsteps, the administration aims to create an environment of seamless assistance and efficient grievance redressal.
