The District Planning Committee (DPC) meeting of South Andaman District, including the Campbell Bay revenue area, will be held on October 7, 8 and 9, 2025, at the Conference Hall of Zilla Parishad, South Andaman. The meeting will be chaired by Mr. Prakash Adhikari, Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman.
Members of the District Planning Committee, special invitees, and Heads of Departments of plan-implementing agencies under the A&N Administration will participate in the deliberations. The agenda includes discussions on the Three Years Action Plan 2026–2029 and the Supplementary Action Plan 2025–2026 of all government departments, Panchayati Raj Institutions, and Urban Local Bodies of South Andaman District.
The schedule of presentations is as follows:
- October 7, 2025 – Health, APWD, Electricity, District Administration, Agriculture, RD/PRIs, Shipping, Port Management Board, Industries, AH&VS, and SVPMC.
- October 8, 2025 – Fisheries, Art & Culture, Information Technology, Education, JNRM, ANCOL, DBRAIT, TGCE, Law College, Social Welfare, Environment & Forest, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Labour, Employment & Training, Transport, and RCS.
- October 9, 2025 – Police & Fire Services, IP&T, Government Press, Civil Aviation, Sports & Youth Affairs, Judiciary, District Jail, Tribal Welfare, Personnel (Cash), Pay & Accounts, Disaster Management, Science & Technology, and Economics & Statistics.
The meeting aims to finalize plans for development initiatives across South Andaman District through inter-departmental discussions and participatory planning.
