District Magistrate, Nicobar District has modified the Office Order No. 37 dated 30th April 2021 on 10th May 2021, which has allowed:
- Godowns and allied establishments which are permitted as per said order can operate beyond 1:00 Pm till 6:00 Pm for non-business purposes and should not cater to any customers. Only internal operations, receiving/dispatching of stocks etc. shall be permitted. Establishments violating this provision shall be liable for fine of Rs. 25,000/-
- LPG/POL operation/distribution shall be permitted upto 6:00 Pm.
- Port Services will continue to operate as usual and both essential and non-essential cargo can be moved in and out of the port, as per requirement for loading/unloading/clearing of cargo and the same shall be permitted till 6:00 PM only.
- Restaurant/hotels/Guest Houses/Eateries can continue operations beyond 1:00 Pm only for home delivery/parcel and room service till 8:00 Pm, if inmates are staying.
- Persons involved in distribution of milk shall be permitted till 6:00 Pm.
- For construction sites where labourers are within the premises, construction activities can go on and while materials from port can be recieved upto 6:00 Pm, no labour movement shall be allowed.
- Officials on essential duties are permitted to travel on production of valid identity cards to be issued by the concerned HoDs.

-1 where as things should be other way round. Since we are 0 cases in most of the island we should work more and help other.
-1.1 . Call calling, tracking, monitor, online consultation, and possible work should be shifted from PB to CB.
0. Who would provide the food, water and toilet, shelter to the labours?
1. What about the supervisor, engineers and contractors are they allowed to move around after coming in contact with labour?
1.1. there are so many small Contractors where 2 or labour work, how can they provide the in house services?
2. In CAMPBELL BAY most of the work go in defence establishment and it should be minimal exposed. So keeping labour in their premises is more riskier. Especially, since virus is on air.
3. Why can’t 2 buses extended to labour only to bring them and drop?
