DSS Warns of Possible Vessel Suspension or Cancellation Amid Inclement Weather

The Directorate of Shipping Services has cautioned the general public and tourists that prevailing inclement weather conditions may necessitate the suspension or cancellation of Mainland, Inter-Island and Foreshore sector vessels at short notice. In a press release, the Directorate reiterated that the safety of passengers and vessels remains its highest priority.

Harbour and vehicle ferry services operating between Chatham, Bambooflat, Dundas Point, Hopetown and Phoenix Bay, as well as other outstation routes, may also experience sudden disruptions depending on weather conditions.
