ECI Unveils Logo and Tagline for 2024 Parliamentary Elections: ‘Chunav Ka Parv, Desh Ka Garv’

In preparation for the upcoming Parliamentary Elections in 2024, the Election Commission of India has introduced its emblematic logo and accompanying tagline, marking the launch of a multimedia campaign aimed at engaging citizens across the nation. The slogan ‘Chunav Ka Parv, Desh Ka Garv’ emphasises the patriotic spirit underlying the electoral process.

The chosen tagline, ‘Chunav Ka Parv’, encapsulates the essence of the electoral journey as a national celebration, uniting every citizen in a collective endeavour towards nation-building. It echoes the sentiment of festivity intertwined with the responsibility each voter holds in shaping the destiny of the nation.

At the heart of the logo lies a gradient colour scheme symbolising unity, commitment, conviction, and the rights and responsibilities inherent in the democratic exercise. The blend of colours reflects the diverse tapestry of Indian society, illustrating the inclusive nature of the electoral process that beckons every eligible voter to actively participate.

The encompassing design surrounding the logo serves as a visual representation of inclusivity, emphasising the significance of every vote and every voter in the democratic fabric of the nation. It underscores the Election Commission’s commitment to ensuring that each voice is heard and every ballot cast holds equal weight.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. B S Jaglan, IAS, Chief Electoral Officer of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, urged citizens to stay informed about electoral procedures and activities by following the official social media channels of the CEO, Andaman and Nicobar Islands. He emphasized the importance of citizen engagement in the electoral process, highlighting elections as a moment of pride, not just for individuals, but for the entire nation – ‘Desh Ka Garv’.

As the nation gears up for the forthcoming Parliamentary Elections in 2024, the Election Commission’s unveiling of the campaign logo and tagline sets the stage for an inclusive and participatory electoral exercise, embodying the spirit of democracy and national pride.
