The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, is extending a significant opportunity to unemployed youth with a keen interest in entrepreneurship. In a bid to empower young minds and foster self-employment, the MSME Development & Facilitation Office has announced the launch of a six-week “Entrepreneurship Skill Development Programme” focused on ‘Mobile Repairing’. This program promises to equip participants with both technical expertise and entrepreneurial skills, enabling them to establish their own enterprises.
To be eligible for this program, participants must be above the age of 18 and hold a minimum qualification of a 10th-grade standard. The goal of this initiative is to bridge the gap between education and employment by empowering individuals with practical skills and a business mindset.
The program is scheduled to take place at Dollygunj, and it is designed to cover a comprehensive curriculum in mobile phone repairing, coupled with the essential knowledge required to start and manage a successful mobile repair business. This unique blend of technical and entrepreneurial education is aimed at not only enhancing employability but also encouraging entrepreneurship among the youth.
The intake for this program is limited to 30 participants, and selection will be on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis. Therefore, aspiring entrepreneurs are urged to act swiftly to secure their spot. The last date for receipt of applications is August 30, 2023.
