Euphoria- Musical and Cultural Events – “Sense of well-being” was conceptualised with the motive to promote good health & to motivate and provide opportunities to the residents of Campbell Bay/Great Nicobar Island. This initiative has been very popular with the residents.
‘Euphoria Sports Event’ was inaugurated by Mr. E S Rajesh, Pramukh, Panchayat Samiti Campbell Bay in presence of Mr. Pradeep Kumar Singh, Block Development Officer on 18th September 2022 at 07:30 AM at Govt. Secondary School, Gandhi Nagar. Events such as Yoga Session, Rangoli Competition, Quiz Competition, Musical Chair, and Senior Citizen Speed Walk were organised as a part of ‘Euphoria Sports Event’.
Later in the evening, ‘Euphoria Musical Evening’ was inaugurated by Col. Debashis Nath, VSM, Commanding Officer, 154 TA Bihar in the presence of Dr. Nitin Shakya, Assistant Commissioner, Campbell Bay, Mr. E S Rajesh, Pramukh Panchayat Samiti Campbell Bay, Mr. Arshdeep Singh Panwar, SDPO, Campbell Bay, Mr. Sanjay Ekka, Up-Pramukh, Panchayat Samiti, Campbell Bay, Miss Leela Bathi Zilla Parishad Member, Laxmi Nagar & Mr. Prahlad Singh, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Laxmi Nagar at Govt. Secondary School, Gandhi Nagar.
The program was organised by the Assistant Commissioner, Campbell Bay in association with the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department of Campbell Bay.
At the end of the program, cash prizes were awarded to the winners of the Solo Song & Group Dance competition. An amount of Rs. 4000, Rs. 3000 & Rs. 2000/- was awarded respectively to those who secured 1st, 2nd & 3rd position. Mary Grace secured the 1st position, Pikul Biswas secured the 2nd position & N. Meena secured the 3rd position in the Solo Song Competition. Anthra SHG secured the 1st position, Dulari SHG secured the 2nd position & Aruna Group secured the 3rd position in the Dance Competition.
