Eye Screening Camp Held at GPS Nabagram on World Sight Day

As part of the observance of World Sight Day, the Block Project Office, Diglipur, under Inclusive Education, Samagra Shiksha, organized an Eye Screening Camp at GPS Nabagram for students and teachers.

The event began with an inaugural address by Ms. Rina Biswas, Headmistress (P), followed by an informative orientation session on the importance of eye health by Ms. Chandni Yadav, Optometrist. She emphasized the significance of regular vision check-ups and preventive eye care practices.

A dedicated medical team from PHC Kalighat, comprising Dr. Shipra Mistry (Ayurveda), Ms. Chandni Yadav (Optometrist), and Ms. Priya (CHO), conducted thorough eye examinations, ensuring that students and teachers received attentive and professional care.

The camp aimed to promote eye health awareness and early detection of vision problems among school children and staff, reinforcing the importance of maintaining good eyesight.
