Fifth Tent Library Inaugurated at Govt. Primary School at Haddo to Promote Reading Among Children

As part of its ongoing efforts to promote reading habits among children, the State Library under the Directorate of Education inaugurated its fifth Tent Library at Government Primary School, Haddo on Tuesday.

The initiative aims to create a joyful and accessible reading environment for young students while strengthening the culture of reading at the primary school level. The Tent Library features a collection of storybooks and other child-friendly reading materials arranged in an open and welcoming space designed to encourage students to explore books and develop a love for reading.

This initiative of the Directorate of Education seeks to make reading both enjoyable and easily accessible for children, thereby nurturing curiosity and promoting lifelong learning among primary school students. 

The Tent Library was formally inaugurated by the chief guest, Mr. R. Sethukkarai, Vice Principal of Government Senior Secondary School (Telugu), in the presence of teachers, students, librarians and officials from the Education Department.

During his interaction with the students, Mr. Sethukkarai encouraged them to cultivate the habit of reading regularly and highlighted the role of books in expanding knowledge, imagination and critical thinking among young learners.
