The Chess Corner was inaugurated by Mr. Vikram Singh, Director of Education, A&N Administration, who marked the occasion by making the ceremonial first move on the chessboard.

The event drew enthusiastic participation from chess enthusiasts, children, parents, and members of the general public, who welcomed the initiative as a fresh opportunity to foster community engagement and promote mind sports.

Speaking at the inauguration, Mr. Singh emphasized the importance of activities like chess in nurturing critical thinking, focus, and decision-making skills among young learners. He urged parents to encourage their children to balance reading with mind sports such as chess to develop the discipline necessary for success.
