Department of Fisheries has invited applications for the construction of Ice Plant/ Cold Storage on pro-rata basis with minimum capacity of 3 MT and above in the prescribed proforma from Fishers/ Fish Farmers/ Fish Workers/ Fish vendors / SHGs/ JNGs / Fisheries Development Corporations / Fisheries Federation/ Entrepreneurs / Private firms / ST / Women/ Differently abled persons for availing subsidy under Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana(PMMSY).
The approved Unit Cost for 01 MT Ice Plant/ Cold Storage is Rs.4.00 lakh. The approved pattern of assistance for the General Category is 40% of the 01 MT Unit Cost with a ceiling of Rs.1.6 lakh and for ST/Women is 60% of the Unit Cost with a ceiling of Rs. 2.4 lakhs for construction of Ice Plant/ Cold Storage.
Interested applicants have been asked to obtain application forms from the Directorate of Fisheries/ Zonal Fisheries Office/ Fisheries Sub-Station and submit their applications along with necessary documents (Identity Proof, Address Proof, Land particulars, etc) to the respective Zonal Fisheries offices or nearest Fisheries Sub-Stations within 15th December 2022.
