Five-Day Training Programme on Office Procedures and RTI Begins in Sri Vijaya Puram

A five-day offline Peripatetic Training Programme on “Office Procedure, Noting & Drafting, Record Management, and RTI” commenced on 17th February 2025, at the Conference Hall of TGCE, Middle Point. The training is being conducted for Higher Grade Clerks (HGCs), Lower Grade Clerks (LGCs), and SVPMC staff of the Amalgamated Clerical Cadre working across various departments under the Andaman & Nicobar Administration.

Organized by the Administrative Reforms and Training Wing of the A&N Administration in collaboration with the Institute of Secretariat Training & Management (ISTM), Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India, the programme was inaugurated by Assistant Secretary (AR&Trg.), Ms. Shailaja, who graced the event as the chief guest.

Expert trainers, Mr. Biswajit Banerjee, Deputy Director, and Ms. Anjali Rana, Assistant Director from ISTM, New Delhi, have been deputed to conduct the training. Around 79 participants are attending the sessions, which aim to enhance their knowledge of office procedures and governance-related regulations.

The inaugural session concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Shilpa, LGC, A&N Administration. The training programme, which began on 17th February 2025, will conclude on February 21, 2025.
