Free Multispeciality Health Camp Conducted at CHC Bambooflat

Health4U Multispeciality Clinic, Junglighat, in association with the Directorate of Health Services (DHS), A&N Administration, organised a free multispeciality health camp at the Community Health Centre (CHC), Bambooflat on March 12, benefiting more than 90 patients from the local community.

The camp witnessed a positive response from residents who availed themselves of free consultations and medical services provided by the visiting specialists. Patients were screened and examined for a range of health conditions including diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, skin diseases, allergies, infections and other general medical issues.

Specialist doctors who attended the camp included Dr. Sumit Rakshit (MBBS, MD – Internal Medicine) and Dr. Megha Kakani (MBBS, DDVL – Interventional Dermatologist & Cosmetologist), who provided consultations and medical guidance to the patients.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Kunal Roy, Director of Health4U Multispeciality Clinic, expressed gratitude to the Directorate of Health Services for its support and collaboration in organising the camp. He highlighted the importance of preventive healthcare and community outreach initiatives.

“Healthcare should not wait for illness. Regular health check-ups, early diagnosis and timely treatment can prevent many serious diseases. Through such camps, our aim is to bring quality healthcare closer to the community and encourage people to take charge of their health,” Dr. Roy said.

Health4U Multispeciality Clinic has reiterated its commitment to organising more such initiatives in collaboration with government health departments to enhance access to quality healthcare services for the people of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
