Global Tourism Welfare Association Appoints Simson as Andaman & Nicobar Chapter Head

The Global Tourism Welfare Association (GTWA), has appointed Mr. Simson as the Chapter Head for the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The appointment took effect from October 15, 2025.

According to the official appointment letter issued by Mr. Anil Singh, General Secretary of GTWA, the association expressed confidence that Mr. Simson’s leadership and experience in the tourism sector will play a key role in advancing GTWA’s objectives in the islands and across the country.

As Chapter Head, Mr. Simson will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to GTWA’s initiatives in the region, fostering engagement with stakeholders including government bodies, tourism professionals, and local communities, and representing the association at national and international forums.

The tenure of the appointment will continue till April 30, 2026.

GTWA, headquartered in Kolkata, aims to promote welfare, networking, and growth within the tourism industry through collaboration, representation, and capacity-building initiatives under its motto — “Transforming Tourism Together.”
