A grand bike rally was organised today at Campbell Bay by the Block Development Officer, CD Block, Campbell Bay to create awareness among the people on the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign of the Govt. of India and to encourage the residents to celebrate the 75th Independence Day with enthusiasm.
The bike rally was flagged off by Dr. Nitin Shakya, Assistant Commissioner, Campbell Bay in presence of Mr. Arshdeep Singh Panwar, SDPO, Campbell Bay, Mr. E S Rajesh, Pramukh, Panchayat Samiti, Campbell Bay, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Zilla Parishad Member, Govind Nagar (Campbell Bay) and other PRIs as well as heads of various departments.
A large number of residents participated in the rally with their bikes displaying the National Flag. Students from GSSS Campbell Bay also marched from their school to Zero Point with placards and flags creating an atmosphere filled with patriotism. The students also sang patriotic songs and presented a patriotic performance before the rally was flagged off.
After the rally was flagged off it passed through the areas of GP Campbell Bay and GP Govind Nagar. The display of National Flags on a large number of motorcycles participating in the rally filled the onlookers with patriotism.
The residents appreciated the local administration for organising the event.
