The residents of Katchal are suffering as no doctor is available at the PHC from the last four days. Several patients are also admitted at the hospital, but due to non-availability of a doctor the in-patients are not getting the required treatment. The locals informed that DHS could have arranged the transportation of a doctor from Car Nicobar by M.V Kalighat which reached Katchal today, but that was not done.
