In a proud moment for the student community of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Guru Prashad, Joint Secretary of ABVP (Andaman Region), represented the Union Territory at the 71st National Conference of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad held in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
The annual conference brought together thousands of student leaders from across the country to deliberate on youth-centric issues, educational reforms, national integration, and future organizational initiatives.
Representing the islands, Guru Prashad put forth key concerns of students from the region, including challenges related to connectivity, limited access to higher education, and the need for enhanced exposure and development opportunities. His interventions received appreciation from senior ABVP leadership and fellow delegates, helping bring national focus to the unique needs of the island territory.
His participation at the national platform is being seen as a motivating milestone for students in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, encouraging greater involvement in leadership, student movements, and nation-building activities.
