As part of the ongoing Island Tourism Festival (ITF) 2025 celebrations, a Hasya Kavi Sammelan will be organised by the Official Language Department of the Andaman & Nicobar Administration at the ITF Ground on December 30 at 6.00 pm.
The literary evening will feature renowned Hasya (humorous) poets from the mainland, including Shri Shambhu “Shikhar”, Smti Shaliza Singh, Shri Vibhor Chaudhury, Shri Sunder Kataria, and Chetan “Charchit”. The poets will enthrall the audience with their witty verses, satire, and humorous compositions, promising an evening filled with laughter and literary entertainment.
The programme aims to enrich the cultural dimension of the Island Tourism Festival by promoting Hindi literature and showcasing the vibrant tradition of humorous poetry. Members of the public, tourists, and poetry enthusiasts have been cordially invited to attend the event and enjoy an engaging cultural experience as part of ITF 2025.
