Health Camp under ‘Swasth Nari Sashakta Parivaar Abhiyaan’ Organized at Mohanpur

As part of the ‘Swasth Nari Sashakta Parivaar Abhiyaan’, a comprehensive health camp was organized at AYUSH Arogya Mandir, Mohanpur, by Dr. R.P. Hospital, Mayabunder. The camp, supervised by Dr. Christina Rossity, Medical Officer In-charge, Dr. R.P. Hospital, witnessed enthusiastic participation from local women who benefitted from a wide range of preventive and promotive healthcare services.

An AYUSH Health Clinic was conducted with the joint efforts of Dr. Priyanka Iqbal (Medical Officer, Ayurveda), Dr. Diviya Singh (Medical Officer, Homoeopathy), and Ms. Puja Kumari (Yoga Instructor). A dedicated yoga session for women emphasized the importance of lifestyle modification and holistic wellness.

Screening for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) was carried out by Community Health Officers (CHOs) and ANMs, while Tuberculosis screening was undertaken by Mr. Madhav Rao, DPC. The ABDM team facilitated the generation of ABHA IDs and PMJAY Ayushman Bharat Cards, enabling villagers to access digital health services and financial protection under government schemes.

Additionally, participants were sensitized about snake bite prevention, first-aid management, and the importance of timely referral in emergency situations.

The initiative aimed to promote women’s health and empower families through accessible, holistic, and preventive healthcare.
