The Health Department, Andaman and Nicobar Islands has issued a warning to aspiring candidates regarding a fake Merit List for Auxiliary Nursing Midwife (ANM) positions that is currently being circulated on social media, particularly WhatsApp. This fraudulent document has created confusion and misled numerous candidates.
The Health Department has strongly urged candidates not to rely on these manipulated and distorted merit lists, cautioning them against falling prey to scammers who spread false information. Instead, candidates have been advised to verify their results and status through official channels.
As per the advisory, candidates are encouraged to visit the Andaman and Nicobar State portal, www.andaman.gov.in, and the e-recruitment portal, erecruitment.andaman.gov.in, to access accurate and up-to-date information. The marks obtained in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) and the list of provisionally shortlisted candidates for document verification for various positions including Health Educator, ANM, Jr. Radiographer-cum-Receptionist, and Health Worker (Male) are available on the official website.
The Health Department emphasises the importance of using these official platforms to obtain authentic information, thereby safeguarding candidates from potential scams and ensuring a fair and transparent recruitment process.
