Directorate of Health Services, Andaman and Nicobar Administration is organising a three-day Health Mela at Campbell Bay from 20th to 22nd April 2022. Health Mela at Campbell Bay was inaugurated on 20th April 2022 by Assistant Commissioner, Campbell Bay in presence of PRI Members, Senior Officers and staff of the Health Department.
Several kiosks have been set up in the community hall by the Health Department and ICDS as part of the Health Mela.
Facility for Ayushman Bharat Registration, NCD Clinic, Dental Check-Up, Eye Check-Up, TB Awareness, Reproductive Child Health, Blood Check-Up etc. is available for the local residents at the Health Mela.
Further, ICDS is organising Baby Show and spreading awareness on Child & Mother Nutrition at the Health Camp.
A large number of residents visited the Health Mela on the day of the inauguration and benefitted from the facilities offered by the Health Department.
The staff of the Health Department are also creating awareness regarding Dulari Scheme and other national-level schemes (under implementation by the Health Department) as part of the Health Mela.
A Yoga Demonstration is also being organised at the venue of the Health Department for the benefit of the general public.
