In an effort to promote health awareness and access to healthcare services, a Health Mela was recently organized at the Community Health Center (CHC) in Diglipur as part of the Ayushman Bhav Campaign. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Dipankar Mistry, the Pramukh (Head) of Diglipur, and witnessed the presence of other Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI) members.
Dr. Shipra Mistry, the General Duty Medical Officer (Ayurveda) at CHC Diglipur, extended a warm welcome to the attendees. Dr. HM Siddaraju, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at CHC Diglipur, took the opportunity to explain the array of services that will be available during the Seva Pakwada campaign. This campaign commenced on September 17, 2023, and is scheduled to run until October 2, 2023.
During the Seva Pakwada campaign, several essential services will be offered to the community, including Ayushman Aapke Dwaar (Ayushman at Your Doorstep), ABHA ID Generation, and Ayushman Bharat Card Distribution. Additionally, the public will have access to Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) screening, Tuberculosis (TB) screening, and Outpatient Department (OPD) services.
At the Health Mela, attendees had the opportunity to avail themselves of services such as NCD screening, TB screening, dental check-ups, and AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy) services. The event aimed to create awareness about various health issues and provide preventive healthcare measures to the local population.
Mr. Dipankar Mistry, the chief guest at the event, emphasized the significance of the Ayushman Bharat Jan Aarogya Yojana in delivering healthcare services to economically disadvantaged and vulnerable communities. He called upon PRI members to play an active role in raising awareness about the Ayushman Bharat scheme among villagers, ensuring that the benefits of the program reach those who need them the most.
