Andaman Islands are bracing for heavy rainfall and turbulent sea conditions over the next few days. Heavy rain, estimating between 7 to 11 cm, likely to occur at isolated places on June 9 and 10.
In addition to the heavy rainfall, squally weather conditions are expected, characterized by strong surface winds with speeds ranging from 40 to 50 kmph along and off the coasts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The sea conditions are predicted to be rough to very rough, posing significant risks for maritime activities.
