The Helicopter Services to Car Nicobar, Chowra, Teressa, Katchal, Kamorta and Campbell bay have been suspended for three days on 24th, 25th and 26th of November 2020 because of closure of airspace, due to the artillery firing exercise being carried out by Andaman and Nicobar Command.
Further, the Directorate of Shipping Services has also postponed the sailings of three of its vessels because of the artillery firing exercise of the Andaman and Nicobar Command.
M.V Chuglam which was scheduled to sail on 25th of November 2020 (Wednesday) for Campbell Bay via Katchal, Chowra, Teressa and Nancowry has now been rescheduled to 27th of November 2020.
M.V Sentinel which had to sail for Car Nicobar on 25th of November 2020 will now sail on 27th of November 2020 at 0800 Hrs.
M.V Sentinel which was scheduled to sail for Little Andaman on 29th of November 2020 will now sail on 30th of November 2020 at 2000 Hrs.
