Help Desk Established for Senior Citizens at Assistant Commissioner’s Office in Campbell Bay

In a bid to provide dedicated assistance to senior citizens, Mr. Abhishek Gulia, Assistant Commissioner of Campbell Bay, has announced the establishment of a Help Desk at his office. The circular was issued on October 14, 2023, outlining the purpose and responsibilities of this initiative.

To oversee the smooth operation of the Help Desk, Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav has been appointed as the Nodal Officer, and he can be reached at the following phone number: 7063926512. His primary role will be to address the grievances and concerns of senior citizens.

Furthermore, as part of this initiative, all Heads of Offices, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), and Banks operating under the jurisdiction of the Campbell Bay Sub-Division have been directed to establish separate windows and queues exclusively designated for senior citizens. This step is aimed at enhancing the convenience and ease of access to services for this age group.

Assistant Commissioner has urged all stakeholders involved to ensure that the concerns of the elderly population are addressed in an amicable manner and given top priority.

This initiative is expected to significantly improve the overall quality of service and support provided to senior citizens in Campbell Bay, ensuring that their concerns are acknowledged and resolved promptly. The establishment of the Help Desk and the appointment of a dedicated Nodal Officer demonstrate the commitment of the local administration to the well-being of its elderly residents.
