A Hindi Workshop was organized on 7th November 2025 at the auditorium of the Police Headquarters. Officers and staff members from various units of the Andaman and Nicobar Police actively participated in the programme.
The workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Rajesh Deo, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police (Coordination). In his address, the chief guest emphasized that Hindi is our official language and encouraged all officers and employees to make the most of the workshop. He urged the personnel of the Andaman and Nicobar Police Department to use Hindi more extensively in their day-to-day official work and set an example for others by strengthening the use of the language in administrative functioning.
During the workshop, Mr. Mohan Das, Senior Translation Officer, familiarized the participants with the Official Language Rules, Policies, and Guidelines, and motivated them to conduct more official work in Hindi. Mr. Ajay Singh, Junior Translation Officer, delivered a lecture on preparing and submitting quarterly reports.
The event was conducted and coordinated by Ms. Shilpi Singha, In-charge, Hindi Cell (Police Headquarters), who also extended a warm welcome to the chief guest and other officers present.
