As part of the month-long celebrations of World Homoeopathy Day 2025, commemorating the 270th birth anniversary of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, the AYUSH Wing of the Directorate of Health Services, A&N Administration, conducted Homoeopathy Health Camps at AYUSH Gram Wandoor, on March 19.
Two separate teams of doctors and support staff, led by Dr. Supria Arangi and Dr. Rajeev Ghosh, provided their services simultaneously at different venues. The camps offered a range of healthcare services, including awareness talks, health screenings, blood examinations, doctor consultations, and the dispensing of homoeopathic medicines.
Dr. Smita Lal, MO (H), Chouldari, Dr. Reena Saha, CHO AAM, New Bimblitan, and Dr. Kirtika Chander, MO (H), AYUSH Hospital, along with pharmacists and lab technicians, attended to patients at the Community Hall, Wandoor Jetty. Meanwhile, Dr. Santanu Ghosh, MO (H), DH-Garacharma, and Dr. Harmeet Kaur, CHO AAM, Guptapara, extended their services at Hasmatabad Community Hall. Informational handouts were also distributed to villagers to raise awareness about homoeopathy.
The camps were inaugurated by Mr. Adhir Das, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Wandoor, in the presence of Mr. Uttam Roy, Up-Pradhan, and Ms. Radha, Member, Gram Panchayat. The PRI members appreciated the efforts of the AYUSH team in delivering quality healthcare services to the community.
A total of 94 villagers benefitted from the camps, reflecting the positive impact of the initiative. (Story Based on PR)
