HumaneTouch NGO Extends Support to Underprivileged Families Through Clotheshare Program

In a heartwarming initiative aimed at supporting underprivileged families, HumaneTouch NGO organized a Clotheshare Program in Hopetown village on 16th February 2025, benefiting nearly 75 families. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from local leaders and residents, reinforcing the spirit of community welfare.

The program was inaugurated by P. Mujib Rehman, President of HumaneTouch, who highlighted the NGO’s ongoing humanitarian efforts. Addressing the gathering, he emphasized the organization’s commitment to providing essential resources such as clothing, education, and medical aid to marginalized communities.

Mrs. Rasheeda Banu, Pradhan of Hopetown, lauded the initiative, acknowledging the NGO’s dedicated efforts in uplifting those in need. She stressed the importance of such programs in ensuring that basic necessities reach underprivileged sections of society. The event was also attended by the Panchayat Samiti Member and Up-Pradhan, further strengthening the collaboration between social organizations and local governance.

The Clotheshare Program has been one of HumaneTouch’s flagship initiatives, successfully reaching numerous villages across the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The NGO’s consistent work in rural areas has not only provided material relief but also fostered a sense of hope and dignity among beneficiaries.
