The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced that its December 2025 Term-End Examination for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online Programmes, in both pen-and-paper and computer-based test (CBT) modes, will commence from December 1, 2025.
The university has opened the online portal for submission of examination forms by eligible students. Candidates can submit their forms through the student portal on the Samarth platform by logging into their account at https://exam.ignou.ac.in. Those not yet registered must complete the “New Registration” process before applying.
The last date for submitting examination forms without a late fee is October 6, 2025. From October 7 to October 20, 2025, students may still apply by paying a late fee of ₹1,100. IGNOU has advised students to verify their results on the official website before submitting the examination form. It has also clarified that examination fees, once paid, will not be refunded under any circumstances.
