The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced that the re-registration process for the January 2026 academic session is now open for all Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online programmes. The window, which began on December 1, 2025, will remain open until January 15, 2026.
Students enrolled in the January 2025 annual session and the July 2025 semester session are eligible to apply. IGNOU has clarified that the re-registration process will be conducted entirely online.
Eligible learners can complete the process by logging in through the university’s portal. In case of technical difficulties or assistance, students may visit the IGNOU Regional Centre located near the Air Cargo Complex, VIP Road, Sri Vijaya Puram.
Learners have been advised to complete the process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.
