The two-week extravaganza of the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2023, a testament to global trade and commerce, concluded at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Highlighting the significance of fostering international partnerships for economic growth, the fair wrapped up, leaving behind a trail of impactful exhibitions and collaborations.
One of the standout features of the fair was the Andaman & Nicobar Pavilion, masterminded under the proficient guidance of Mr. Keshav Chandra, IAS, Chief Secretary of A&N Administration. This pavilion brought into focus the islands’ rich cultural heritage, tourism, hospitality sectors, biodiversity, and investment potential, emphasizing sustainable development. Its remarkable efforts were recognized as it was conferred with the prestigious ‘Gold Medal’ among the Union Territories category. The medal was presented by Mr. Pradeep Singh Kharola, Chairman & Managing Director of India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), New Delhi. The honour was received by Mr. Ajit Anand, Deputy Director of Industries Department, accompanied by the A & N Administration team.
With the thematic essence of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – United by Trade,’ the fair aimed to provide a robust platform for businesses across diverse sectors to connect, collaborate, and delve into opportunities for sustainable growth. Boasting participation from over 1,000 exhibitors representing India and various corners of the world, the event showcased an eclectic range of products and services, spanning from traditional crafts to cutting-edge technologies.
IITF 2023 emerged as a melting pot of ideas, innovation, and investment prospects, solidifying India’s position as a pivotal player in the global economic landscape. The event not only celebrated trade but also emphasized the importance of collaboration and sustainable development in the contemporary world of commerce.
