Indian Reserve Battalion Organizes Bullet Rally to Promote Voter Awareness

Under the leadership of Commandant Ms. Shweta K Sugathan IPS, the Indian Reserve Battalion, A&N Police organized a dynamic “Bullet Rally” with the aim of bolstering voter awareness and participation in the upcoming elections. Led by Deputy Commandant Mr. Naveen Kumar, the rally embarked from the IRBn Headquarters at Port Mout and journeyed through numerous villages and areas, concluding at Wandoor. 

The route encompassed Mithakhari, Namunaghar, Shaitankhari, Ferrajgunj, Ograbranj, Chouldhari, Sippighat, Nayashaher, Guptapara, Manglutan, engaging with communities and disseminating awareness about the importance of exercising the right to vote.

Marked by the thunderous roar of engines, the rally saw the spirited participation of 100 IRBn personnel, mounted on 50 bullet motorcycles, covering approximately 75 kilometres. Decked with colourful banners bearing motivational messages like “Each Vote Counts, Let’s Vote on April 19th,” the convoy aimed to instill a sense of civic duty and responsibility among the populace.

The “Bullet Rally” underscores IRBn’s steadfast commitment to fostering civic engagement and upholding the democratic values cherished by the nation. Through such proactive endeavours, the IRBn continues to play a pivotal role in fortifying the democratic framework of society.
