The Department of Industries, Andaman and Nicobar Administration, has invited nominations from startups and innovators in the Islands to participate in the India-France Year of Innovation (IFYOI) 2026 Exhibition proposed to be held in Mumbai.

The inaugural event of the India-France Year of Innovation 2026 is tentatively scheduled for February 17, 2026, in Mumbai, coinciding with the proposed visit of the President of the French Republic to India.

As part of the programme, an India-France Innovation Forum and an exhibition showcasing innovative ideas and startups will be organised. The event will also feature an immersive show titled “Containers of Imagination” near the Gateway of India, aimed at highlighting collaborative innovation between the two nations.

Startups and innovators from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands interested in participating have been advised to prepare brief profiles of their innovative products or ideas, clearly outlining key features and relevant criteria. They may contact the Directorate of Industries, A&N Administration, for further details and submission of nominations.

The initiative offers a significant platform for island-based entrepreneurs to present their innovations at an international forum and explore potential collaborations.
