Sri Vijaya Puram’s Science Centre has unveiled its latest facility, the ‘Innovation Hub,’ aimed at empowering school and college students to engage in innovative projects and solutions. The facility is designed to provide a collaborative space for students, researchers, and industry experts to work together and create impactful developments.
The Innovation Hub features a state-of-the-art, multi-disciplinary laboratory equipped with resources such as the Resource Centre, IDA lab, Design Studio, Robotics, Electronics, and a dedicated Physics-Chemistry-Biotechnology section. Additionally, sections like Tod-fod-Jod and Kabad-se-Jugad encourage creative problem solving using recycled materials. The lab is stocked with modern tools and scientific instruments to support various innovation projects.
The primary objective of the Hub is to nurture independent thinking and problem-solving abilities among students by offering them the opportunity to design, fabricate, and experiment after school hours, on weekends, or during holidays. Periodic workshops and hands-on experiments are planned to foster innovative thinking.
Students can become members of the Innovation Hub by enrolling and gaining access to these unique resources.
