IRBn to Provide Round the Clock Security at Fish Landing Centre Junglighat

Directorate of Fisheries has now deployed IRBn personnel for round-the-clock security at Fish Landing Centre Junglighat. Deployment of IRBn personnel at the Fish Landing Centre is to regulate the movement of general public, vehicles and also to maintain law and order in the premises from coastal security point of view. 

Directorate of Fisheries in its Circular has listed the persons/vehicles permitted in the Fish Landing Centre:

  1. Fishermen having valid fishing ID card.
  2. Owners of Fishing Vessel Registered in A & N Islands.
  3. Registered Fish Traders.
  4. Persons engaged in repair of fishing boats in FLC Junglighat.
  5. Fish Vendors collecting fish from fishing boats at FLC Junglighat.
  6. Cargo Auto, Fish Transport Vehicles (3 Wheeler, 4 Wheeler/ 6 Wheeler) engaged in the transportation of fish, ice, diesel, drinking water, timber etc. with labours.
  7. Two wheelers fitted with Ice Box.
  8. Government Vehicles, Officials of Fisheries Department or any other Department/Organisation.
