The Directorate of Education has announced the selection trial for the Island School Archery team for the Under-17 category (Boys & Girls) to represent the islands at the 69th SGFI National School Archery Championship, set to be held in Ranchi, Jharkhand, in the third week of November 2025.
The final selection trial for bonafide students in the U-17 age group will take place on October 27 at Netaji Stadium, starting from 3 PM.
Students eligible to participate should be born on or after January 1, 2009, and studying in Class 6 to Class 12. Both government and private school students have been invited to attend the trials in proper sports kit.
Participants are required to bring the following documents: attested bonafide certificate, copy of birth certificate, bank details, Aadhaar card, and previous year’s mark statement.
