The much-awaited Island Tourism Festival–2025 is set to be organised by the Tourism Department, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, from 27th to 31st December 2025. As part of the celebrations, the Department of Art & Culture will present an array of cultural programmes across 14 venues including ITF Ground, Marina Park, Wandoor, Wimberlygunj, Shaheed Dweep, Swaraj Dweep, Hut Bay, Baratang, Rangat, Mayabunder, Diglipur, Campbell Bay, Nancowry and Nicobar.
The Department has invited applications from local cultural associations and organisations of the Islands interested in performing during the festival. Each group is required to submit details of three to four cultural programmes, with a minimum duration of 30 minutes for dance and 45 minutes to one hour for singing. This will help the Programme Selection Committee assess and curate a diverse range of performances for the festival.
Participants must be 8 years of age or above, and each group should comprise 7 to 15 members. Applications must include a self-certificate confirming the group’s willingness to perform at any of the designated venues allotted by the Department.
The last date for submission of applications is 4 PM on 14th November 2025. Forms can be submitted in person at the Directorate of Art & Culture, Cellular Jail Complex, Atlanta Point, Sri Vijaya Puram, or via email at artand.culture@and.nic.in. The application form and self-certificate format are available for download at https://andamannicobar.gov.in.
The Programme Selection Committee will conduct rehearsals and select performances on 8th and 9th December 2025 at Andaman Club from 10 AM onwards. Participants must be fully prepared to showcase their performance before the Committee. The Department reserves the right to modify the date, time, and venue slots of selected groups.
