In a concerted effort to institutionalise Swachhata (cleanliness) and address pending references in government offices, the Andaman and Nicobar Administration has identified 20 key sites and offices for a massive clean-up as part of the nationwide Special Campaign 4.0. The campaign, which runs from October 2, 2024, to October 31, 2024, aims to promote cleanliness across various government institutions while streamlining administrative work.

Under the Administrative Reforms and Training Wing, government offices across the islands have been mobilized, including the Information & Technology Department/SOVTECH, and the Litigation Section of the Secretariat, which enthusiastically participated in the clean-up drive.

The staff of SVPMC also played a crucial role, offering assistance and support to the departments during the campaign. The drive, which aligns with the Swachh Bharat Mission, underscores the Administration’s commitment to maintaining a cleaner, more efficient working environment across the islands.
