ITDP Car Nicobar Distributes Professional Cycling Skinsuits to Tribal Trainees

In a move to encourage sports and nurture athletic talent among tribal youth, the Integrated Tribal Development Project (ITDP), Car Nicobar, distributed 15 professional cycling skinsuits to tribal trainees undergoing coaching under the Sports Authority of India (SAI), Car Nicobar.

The distribution ceremony, held yesterday at Car Nicobar, was presided over by Mr. Amit Kale, IAS, Deputy Commissioner (Nicobar), who handed over the skinsuits to the beneficiaries. Addressing the young athletes, Mr. Kale urged them to strive for excellence and bring laurels to the islands by showcasing their talent in national-level competitions.

The event was also attended by the Project Officer (ITDP) / Assistant Commissioner (HQ), Car Nicobar, along with the SAI Coach.

This initiative underscores ITDP Nicobar’s continued efforts to identify and support promising young athletes, promote participation in competitive sports, and foster a spirit of fitness, discipline, and achievement among the tribal communities of the Nicobar District.
